throttle input, like a smaller engine would. Some say the heavier stock one is easier to drive from a stop, but I didn't that at all, so I think "annoying" is much to strong a word to use. It may be that some people have to pay a little more attention to what they're doing with the gas pedal when they take off and shift, and they don't like that. One could lose rpm more when shifting with a lighter flywheel because there's less spinning mass, but again, I think it's a matter of paying a little more attention. I think the tradeoff is worth it, but it's a personal choice.
